Great for tracking

I went with these because of Yamaha's track record on quality control and consistency, and so far I haven't been disappointed. These are really solid headphones for tracking; they're lightweight and isolate sound really well so you're not going to get click bleed while recording.

The sound is very neutral and brutally honest, so they might be good to check a mix while you're doing your phone, car test. Definitely not a headphone I'd buy for general listening, so if you want a better all rounder that can do everything, maybe grab a different pair.
