Description
Introducing the Yamaha Montage 7, a revolution in synthesizer technology that takes the legacy of Yamaha’s iconic DX and Motif keyboards and propels it into the future. This synthesizer is designed to inspire, allowing you to unleash your creativity with its sophisticated dynamic control, massive sound creation, and streamlined workflow.
The heart of the Montage 7 is the Motion Control Synthesis Engine, which controls and unifies two legendary sound engines: AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) and FM-X (Frequency Modulation). This allows for unprecedented sound design possibilities as you layer and zone these engines across eight parts in a single Montage Performance.
The Montage 7’s Super Knob allows you to control multiple parameters simultaneously, resulting in dramatic sound changes from subtle to radical. This feature can even be assigned to a second foot controller, providing easy manipulation of the sound when playing with both hands.
The synthesizer also includes a massive range of high-quality sounds, from the Yamaha CFX Premium Grand Piano to detailed strings and woodwinds. The Montage 7 is even compatible with Motif XF voices, and Yamaha is developing an FM converter to make it compatible with DX7 series voices as well.
