Critic Reviews

Yamaha MSP3

soundonsound.com

The Yamaha MSP3 monitors offer a compact, affordable solution for non-critical listening, particularly suited for computer workstations. With a robust build and dual inputs for mixing, they are versatile and reliable. However, their sound is somewhat "shouty," with a two-dimensional soundstage that lacks depth. While they suffice for low-budget studio environments, more accurate monitors would ease mixing tasks. Ideal for casual listening but not for extracting subtle details in complex mixes.

little but trustable

my first pair of pro monitors . These shocked me when I first got them as I had to reevaluate everything I had done !!! Not a lot of bass on account of size . They told me of my tendency to wanting to boost all the mid to high frequencies .... I still use them to give me a general flat response feel ...
