Great monitors for a first time studio setup
These Alesis are great monitors for a first time studio setup or home/bedroom studios. Fairly well balanced and flat monitors but worth profiling in order to compensate in the mix (if need be). Sturdy, well constructed with two connection options and individual volume control. 10+ years and still going strong

Very good middle and low end but the high end lacks slightly
These sound awesome but I wish they had a tad bit clearer high end, The middle and high frequencies tend to blend a little too much for my liking but these are still really solid.

Reliable monitors with impressive sound but not the most accurate
Have had these for a LONG time, I love them! Not the most accurate for monitoring a mix, the bass and treble sound a little too good. They are powered so no need for an amp, and they get really loud. I can definitely make Guitar Rig scream through these, and it sounds sweet. Lots of temptation looking around at other monitors, but no need to upgrade just yet...
Best monitors in its price range.
The best studio monitors in its price range. Have been using it for over 10 years. "slightly" heavy on the low end, but you learn to compensate for it.

Yeah, def not flat, but these sound so good. Great for listening to music casually too. Nice price point too.

I have those in my set up too... they are great but a little too sensitive to dirty power supply. Having issues with one that keeps freaking out on me and then need it to 'rest' before I can use it again. *Rest is what an Alesis support staff member called it :D

HAHA yeah I hate it when my gear takes a *rest :)

Very good monitors for the price.
These are a hidden treasure. With its crossover set to 2000hz, these are a must have. Durable construction, good low end and flat frequency response. Sadly, from 2013, they are discontinued. I'm lucky to have an almost mint pair from 2012.
