Better than the new VOX V846-HW.
I wanted to replace my AMT Electronics wah with something more vintage sounding. The AMT Electronics wah is not bad but its tonality is aimed more towards those who play modern genres of music. For me it was a toss-up between this pedal and the VOX V846-HW, I am glad I opted for this pedal. This pedal is completely handwired just like the VOX V846-HW pedal. A major advantage this pedal has over the VOX V846-HW is that it can not only replicate the tones of the vintage VOX V846 wah pedal but also of other vintage halo inductor based wah pedals. Just play around the harmony knob and this pedal lets you produce tones of different kinds of halo inductor based wah pedals like the VOX Clyde McCoy Wah, King Wah, and even Thomas Organ Cry Baby wah. I think the only reason it costs low is because it's made by BBE, had it been made by some big boutique brand I'm pretty sure that it would have cost an arm and leg to buy.

As good as some of the best vintage halo inductor based wah pedals.
This wah pedal is like multiple vintage halo-inductor based wah pedal stuffed in one pedal. Back when I bought it, it used to cost around $100. If I ain't wrong they have hiked the prices, but even after the price hike it offers unbeatable value for the money. If anything I like it better than vintage Eleca halo inductor based wah pedals because BBE's halo inductor has lower noise, and the pedal has great quality true bypass switching.

wow
this wah wah kicks the crap out of every wah I've ever owned... has features you would pay top dollar for if it said Teese on it. I don't usually use a wah wah, but when I do it'll be this one. Seeya crybaby mini. This thing is amazing value for dollar, well done BBE.

Best wah in the market.
It's hands down the most vintage sounding wah. It employs true-bypass switching and hence doesn't impact the guitar tone when bypassed. Its components are hand-wired. The quality of this wah is absolutely unbelievable for its price.
