Description

The Blackstar HT Club 40 SE is a versatile combo guitar amplifier that combines classic tube warmth with modern versatility, making it an ideal choice for both stage and studio. With its patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control, guitarists can effortlessly shape their sound from classic British to modern American tones. Whether you're a blues player, a rocker, or a metal enthusiast, this amp's flexibility accommodates a wide range of styles.

At the heart of the HT Club 40 SE is a pair of EL34 power tubes, delivering 40 watts of robust power. This provides enough volume to cut through any band mix while maintaining tonal clarity. The amp features two footswitchable channels, Clean and Overdrive, each with its own voice switch, allowing for a customized sound palette. The clean channel delivers pristine, glassy tones, while the overdrive channel offers everything from warm crunch to soaring leads.

The amp also includes built-in digital reverb, providing lush ambiance without the need for external effects. The addition of an effects loop makes it easy to integrate pedals, ensuring you maintain complete control over your tone. With its speaker emulated output, you can easily record your sessions or practice silently without sacrificing sound quality.

Best amp for the money

The Blackstar HT40 is a very nice and affordable gigging tube combo with good overdrive. Paired with a 12 inch Celestion Vintage 30 speaker you get your moneys worth. It is made in China but don't let that fool you, This amp packs a punch and will not disappoint.

actually no one complains that Chinese guitar gear doesn't sound good, it usually does.... it just tends to be a maintenance hassle after the 1st year and is not very road worthy
