The best mfx I own
I have a few MFX's but this is the one I will concentrate on. It’s amp sims are even better than my zoom and boss gt1s. My two bucket list anmos were a fender deluxe annd an Roland jc120. The sims anre so good, I no longer desire them. I have the sounds I wanted. Its effects are pretty great. To nitpick, the bd1 doesn’t have the response of the pedal, but there’s the send and return in the back. So I can add my blues driver. The ds 1 is tremendous. The reverbs are fantastic. I like having things like the Tera echo and ring modulator.
Setup is pretty easy, and even the more complex stuff makes sense once you get your head around it.
As a bassist I love its bass effects, and its compatibility with acoustics is just superb.
I now take this instead of an amp and pedalboard. I might even sell my pedals.
