Description

Unlock your creative potential with the Cheetah MS6 Multi Timbral Synthesizer Module, an iconic piece of gear that bridges classic analog sounds with modern digital flexibility. Originally released in the late 1980s, the MS6 is renowned for its rich, vintage tones and multi-timbral capabilities, making it a favorite among synth enthusiasts and professional musicians alike. With six-voice polyphony, this module allows you to layer complex textures or play harmoniously across different instruments simultaneously.

The MS6 is celebrated for its analog warmth, driven by its Curtis CEM3396 chips, which are the same chips found in some legendary synthesizers. This module provides a wide range of sound-shaping tools with its extensive modulation matrix and flexible routing options. Whether you’re into ambient soundscapes, punchy basslines, or intricate leads, the MS6 has you covered with its comprehensive preset library and user patches.

Perfect for both studio and live settings, the Cheetah MS6 comes with MIDI compatibility, allowing seamless integration with your existing setup. Its robust construction and intuitive interface ensure that you spend more time creating and less time navigating menus.

Key Features:

  • Multi-timbral with six-voice polyphony

  • Extensive modulation matrix for versatile sound design

Back To The Future (SOS Nov 88)

The Cheetah MS6 Multi Timbral Synthesizer Module impresses with its affordable price, robust build, and user-friendly interface, providing a budget-friendly alternative to pricier synths like the Oberheim Matrix 1000. It excels in classic analogue sounds, perfect for musicians seeking warm, vintage tones. However, it lacks a headphone socket and has minor quirks in ROM voices, attributed to its pre-release state. Despite these, the MS6's multitimbral capabilities and Wave Mix synthesis offer rich soundscapes, making it a valuable addition to any setup, especially for those new to analogue synthesis.

Best than matrix 1000

Very good analog multitimbral synthesizer. This synth have voice chips, that have oberheim matrix 1000, but MS6 are the multitimbral!
