Description
A tribute to an era of musical revolution and artistic exploration, the Fender Artist Series George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster captures the spirit of one of rock history's most iconic instruments. This meticulously crafted replica of George Harrison's beloved guitar is a must-have for both collectors and musicians seeking to channel the essence of the Beatles’ mid-period sound. Crafted with a lightweight alder body, this Stratocaster is adorned with a psychedelic finish that mirrors George's original hand-painted masterpiece, complete with vibrant swirls and whimsical details.
The guitar's sound is as classic as its look, featuring a trio of vintage-style ’60s Stratocaster pickups. These pickups deliver the chime and clarity that defined many of George's unforgettable riffs, from the soulful chords on "In My Life" to the electrifying "Day Tripper" intro. For players, the mid-’60s “C”-profile neck offers a comfortable grip, making it as enjoyable to play as it is to admire. The rosewood fingerboard and vintage-correct 7.25-inch radius frets provide smooth action for both rhythm and lead playing.
Whether you're a Beatles aficionado or a modern-day minstrel, the Fender George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster is more than just a guitar—it's a piece of rock and roll history, reimagined for today's players.

Great look, great sound, great playability
I've been using various Stratocasters from Squier and Fender through the years and when I saw this one go on sale I knew I had to buy it. Good thought too since this was sold out in a couple hours. Playing this through a Vox AC15C2, it sounds quite impressive, and when compared to my other current Strat, a Squier Classic 60s, this one easily wins in terms of playability. Imitating Harrison's style of play comes with ease on this one, I've hardly seen other Strats where this works this well. Might be a placebo though, I admit :D
