Description

Professional in-ear monitors with full-range frequency response.

Hear every nuance of your music with lifelike clarity with the FXA2 in-ear monitor. From the deepest lows to clear, singing highs, your monitor mix comes alive with highly musical sound from these serious monitors for serious players who appreciate a rich low end. Designed and assembled in the USA, these comfortable low-profile slimline-style monitors use innovative technology for powerful audio that works especially well for bassists and drummers.

Custom Rare-Earth Dynamic Drivers
These dynamic drivers have a clear, sweet sound due to their full-range frequency response. Constructed with rare-earth magnets, which are more powerful than traditional magnet materials, these custom drivers are sure to please fans of rich, punchy low end, such as bassists and drummers.

Groove-Tuned Port
Reproducing bass frequencies properly requires more air movement than needed for other frequencies. The Groove-tuned bass port on this model allows more air to reach the driver, enhancing the bass response without adding size or weight to the monitors.

3D-Printed Digital Hybrid Technology Housing
The 3D-printed housing provides a custom-molded-like fit derived from scanning literally thousands of ear canals and then compiling the results to create an “ideal” fit that works for 95% of users. This low-profile housing uses 3D printing for a precise fit that seals the ear canal for enhanced bass and reduced ambient interference.

Detachable MMCX Cable
Constructed from silver-plated low-oxygen copper cable, the MMCX cables reduce signal loss, ensuring the maximum amount of audio goes where it belongs—your ears. The square connector is easy to grip, even when exposed to moisture, making cable swapping a snap. The integrated formable wire creates a perfect over-the-ear secure fit.

Ambient Noise Reduction
With the combination of the 3D-printed housing and patent-pending secure-fit tips these in-ear monitors reduce ambience by up to 22dB, allowing you to hear what you need the most—your music.

Full-Range Frequency Response
This model’s frequency response ensures you’ll hear all the highs, the lows and everything in-between, for a completely natural listening experience.

Fender's FXA2 in-ear monitors sound great onstage and off

engadget.com

Fender steps into the in-ear monitor arena with the FXA2, offering a solid performance for $200. Praised for its snug fit and impressive low-end clarity, these monitors excel for drummers and bassists. While high frequencies might lack the crispness found in pricier options, the FXA2s deliver on-stage and off-stage versatility. The sound quality, especially in the low register, is commendable, making them suitable for musicians and casual listeners alike. Despite minor drawbacks in higher-pitched vocals, the FXA2s are a comfortable and reliable choice for those not wanting to break the bank for quality sound.

Fender FXA2 Review | Trusted Reviews

trustedreviews.com

The Fender FXA2 in-ear monitors offer a luxurious design and a comfortable fit, making them visually appealing and easy to wear. Featuring custom 9.25mm rare-earth drivers, they deliver decent sound quality with good volume levels and detail. The stereo imaging and sound isolation are commendable, although the claim of blocking 22db of ambient noise is questionable. However, the sound signature is slightly marred by an overly bright high end, which can make certain instruments sound too sharp. Despite this, the FXA2 remains a solid mid-range choice for those prioritizing aesthetics and comfort, albeit with a minor tonal balance issue.
