Critic Reviews

Review: MEE Audio MX4 PRO | Headphonesty

headphonesty.com

MEE Audio's MX4 PRO in-ear monitors deliver a clear, neutral sound ideal for analytical listening, but they come with notable drawbacks. While the overall audio quality is commendable and the inclusion of Comply foam tips significantly enhances bass response, the stock silicone tips leave much to be desired. Build quality feels underwhelming for the price, and the convoluted detachable cable system may deter some users. The customizable options are a nice touch, yet they often come at an extra cost. With fierce competition in the budget IEM market, the MX4 PRO may excel for specific users but struggles to justify its premium price against more affordable alternatives.

MEE audio MX4 Pro IEM Review » MOONSTAR Reviews

The MEE audio MX4 Pro modular in-ear monitors deliver a balanced sound profile with impressive bass speed and control, making them suitable for a variety of genres. With customizable faceplates and a rich accessory package, they stand out in design and versatility. However, they fall short in midbass extension and upper treble roll-off, which might disappoint audiophiles seeking more depth. Overall, the MX4 Pro offers great value for its price, particularly for those looking for a well-rounded listening experience without breaking the bank.

SoundStage! Solo | SoundStageSolo.com - MEE Audio MX4 Pro Earphones

soundstagesolo.com

The MEE Audio MX4 Pro earphones offer a customizable experience with their modular design, catering well to audiophiles seeking detail in sound. However, the product's treble-heavy profile may disappoint those who prefer a balanced tone, as the bass tends to feel lacking, which could hinder the overall listening experience for casual users. While the build quality is commendable, the stiff cables can be cumbersome. Ultimately, the MX4 Pros shine in delivering clarity and detail, but they may not be the best choice for everyday listening or for those who crave a fuller sound.

Solid Kit

These have been great for session work as a drummer and have gotten even more use as my IEM for DJing / Broadcasting.

While I have not used these for my day job in the studio (production / mixing) they are flexible for my ears, applications and such and the included case it great!
