The Jiachen an OTA Compressor and Boost hand-made by Gervana Pedals.

The Pedal serves as Overdrive , Boost , Compression and Sustain.
OTA (Operational Transconductance Amplifier) compressor + “voiceless excitation” circuit in parallel.
Emphasis in the marketing that the OTA design gives “purer and faster” compression, with more penetrating sound and richer layers.
Tube Sim Switch which affects both boost and compression circuits, intended to simulate tube warmth / richer overtones.

Specs:

• Bypass / Buffer Buffered bypass, includes a built‑in “Klon style” buffer circuit between In / Out
• Sustain knob (compression amount / duration)
• Attack knob (sets the attack / “startup” character)
• Blend knob (mix between dry and compressed signal)
• Level knob (output / excitation level)
• Additional Switching / Modes
• Treble Boost switch • Adds boost in mid-high frequency region, adds “details”
• Power: 9 V DC (center negative)
