This is a Beast
This is the best SG I have ever played and is possibly the best guitar i have ever played. The sound of this guitar is heavenly it really hits them cleans that you need for lead and them can easily ramp up the distortion thanks to the relatively output of the pickups. When this goes through my VOX AC30 with a RV-6 it sounds so nice :D love this guitar and I think it'll always be a keeper :D
Fantastic
I receved this guitar on Christmas Day 2013 and i was through the roof with it. Since getting that guitar it has changed the way i feel about guitar, its made me want to practise more and made me want to learn more Angus Young lead parts.
Artist usage
Add artist
The Angus Young Signature SG introduced in 2000, was fittingly the first ever artist signature SG model. While not a direct copy of any particular SG that Angus used, it was styled generally after the 1966-1971 Batwing style SGs Angus played most often in his early career. However, one feature was inspired by a specific SG of his; the neck profile of his very first SG, which was very thin. The body design was borrowed from the contemporary SG Standard. Earlier examples tend to be lighter in color and more brownish-red, while later examples are darker. This model was discontinued in 2008
"I went to see AC/DC in Sydney AU on Feb 22 and got the full stage tour from Malcolm's tech Bison and their amp tech Rick (who builds Wizard Amps). I got to play one of Angus's SG's through one of his Wizard amps. It sounded amazing. I was so nervous I couldn't remember how to play half the AC/DC songs I know. Notice how high the strap is as well. It's Angus's! Oh, and AC/DC was incredible."
