Description
Crafted for musicians who appreciate both vintage elegance and cutting-edge performance, the Gretsch Anniversary 65 Electric Guitar is where classic charm meets modern innovation. This semi-hollowbody electric guitar is a tribute to Gretsch's legacy, offering a versatile range of tones that cater to the contemporary artist's needs.
At the heart of its sonic prowess are the High Sensitive Filter’Tron humbucking pickups, which deliver a dynamic response to your playing style, from smooth whispers to aggressive growls. The thoughtfully designed control layout, including separate volume controls for each pickup, a master volume, and a No-Load master tone, provides endless tonal possibilities. Add to this the unique Gretsch "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitors for that luscious vintage timbre, while a treble bleed circuit ensures clarity even at lower volumes.
The guitar's sleek maple neck, with a comfortable “U” shape and a 12” radius rosewood fingerboard, makes it a joy to play, accommodating any fretting hand style with its 21 medium jumbo frets. Stability and sustain are further enhanced by the pinned “rocking” bar bridge paired with a String-Thru Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, streamlining string changes and boosting vibration transfer.
With a slightly thinner body depth of 2.25", this guitar is designed for comfort during extended performances. The innovative "ML" bracing maintains that iconic full hollowbody sound, while aesthetic touches like the nickel “G Arrow” control knobs and pearloid thumbnail inlays add to its visual appeal. Complete with a hardshell case, the Gretsch Anniversary 65 is not just an instrument, but a statement.

What it does, it does good.
This guitar can't do everything. Forget funk grooves, for instance. But If you want to play Jazz, blues, Roots Rock or even heavy rock that guitar is just perfect. Really nice to play and has a big personnality.
