Critic Reviews

Quick Hit: Hotone Audio Binary Eko Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Hotone Binary Eko is a versatile delay workstation offering 17 different delay types, including emulations of classic models. While the user-friendly interface and preset editing capabilities are commendable, it falls short with only 10 presets available. The analog and modulated tones don't quite capture the warmth and character of their analog counterparts, often sounding more digital than desired. However, it excels in simpler delay settings, making it a solid choice for those seeking straightforward digital delays rather than complex analog emulations. Overall, the Binary Eko is a mixed bag—great for convenience but limited in tonal richness.

The best budget combo delay pedal on Earth!

Ok so this is a psych rockers best buddy! Lots of spacey echo options. Only con is the settings cancel out when you switch between patches, and you're forced to reset them. Otherwise it's a winner 👍👍
