One of the best daws, lacks correlation to other daws.

FL Studio has been one of the best daws on the market since it's release in 1997. FL comes with all the synth and effect plug-ins you'll need to make any song from start to finish. My only criticism so far is the workflow, which is a personal preference, and how FL Studio has very little correlation to other daws in some places.

Best music software out there (Opinion)

This is a program that is perfect for electronic music producers. The beginners version of the software is very affordable (I think around 100 bucks). As time goes on and you learn more and more about producing, the next upgrades are very affordable as well. Each upgrade to the next level is 100 dollars. I produced a full EP and a half of album (both successful in my eyes) with just the beginner version of the software. Definitely pick FL Studio for your software. Not once has this software crashed on me or lost my files. Run's super well on most computers too.

Fully professional DAW for reasonable price

FL Studio is fully professional DAW. Included native VSTs are very good (for example producer edition contains Sytrus which is one of the best FM synths on market with some unique features). The workflow is very fast once you get hang of it. This DAW despite of what people over interent sometimes say is capable of doing all the things which other DAWs like Cubase, Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton can do. And on top of that you get life time free upgrades which made me chose it and i feel like i will never regret chosing this workstation!

Fantastic, Cheap, Somewhat Irritating DAW

I really like FL Studio. The price is a lot cheaper than other DAWs to purchase the "full version" (technically producer edition, anything above that is a bundle of producer and additional plugins). The stock plugins are great, you get Sytrus, one of the most powerful FM synths and Maximus, one of the most powerful compressors. That said, it grates on me. There are so many things that just take more clicks, more time, and more effort than other daws due to how FL is designed. I've ended up switching to Cubase.

Been using FL Studio since I started producing music on a computer back in 2011. Really love the workflow and how fast I'm able to realise my ideas with it. This also comes partly from the amazing piano roll that's simple and quick but at the same time very advanced. One downside may be seeing as it doesn't have a channel fixed arrangement window, it takes an extra effort to make the projects really organized, which usually leads to my projects looking quite messy cause I'm quite lazy... but I'm fine with that aslong as I can work fast.

Highly recommend for those starting out

I've used FL Studio since the beginning of my producing career and it has not once failed me. All of the things I need done are easily accomplished with the vast array of plugins made by Image Line for the Producers Edition, and while many professionals use Ableton, I've found that each time I have to pick I stick with FL Studio, because unlike Ableton, Image Line allows you to do everything you need without having to navigate a labyrinth of tabs, folders, etc. Highly recommend it for beginning producers.

Easy to Use My Favorite DAW!

The whole application feels more modern and easier to navigate. The mixer, in particular, looks and feels so much more up to date than it was before, meaning that using it is a great deal more appealing.

The new scalability will be a bonus for anyone investing in higher-resolution monitors, which are getting cheaper all the time, and multi-touch is certainly interesting.

Even if your system doesn’t have a touchscreen, you may find that the lure of controlling FL Studio 12 in a very hands-on way persuades you to add a capable monitor, which can be relatively affordable. You’ll need a recent version of Windows for this, of course.

FL Studio has a large user base, and it seems likely that this new version will serve only to grow it further. A capable, affordable and now very modern-feeling DAW.
