Works well and is affordable.

I needed a second noise gate for my metal pedal board and didn't have much money to spend so I got this. It's not exactly perfect but I am very content with it. If I were to compare it to other it to other gate pedals I've used I'd say that it is not quite as fast as the MXR smart gate but it is more transparent than the Boss NS2. The only issue I've had is that when I play clean with it on it will gate the notes as soon as the dip below the threshold which is normal, except that it does this even at the lowest setting. So if you are switching between clean and high gain a lot you will either want to shut it off on clean or save your money for a different gate.

Good value and does the job.

One of the main reasons for me turfing out my old multi-fx was it's awful noise gate, so I very much appreciated this pedal being as affordable and easy to use as it is. For the price point you find anything better in my opinion. I use a Big Muff and a single coil shod Mustang a fair bit and it does the job with the background noise of that.
