Description
Jet-powered guitar distortion with the Afterburner.
Looking for killer overdrive in a durable, long-lasting pedal? Look no further, because Jet City has got you covered with the Afterburner Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal. This true-bypass, two-stage overdrive pedal features incredible-sounding distorted tones for mean rhythms and screaming solos. The first stage is a straight-up overdrive for adding gain to the front-end of a tube amp. The second stage is a "clean" boost to increase volume for solos, etc.
The pedal features independent control of overdrive and "afterburner" boost stage. The volume controls the overall output level, and the tone controls the tone definition. The overdrive knob controls the amount of OD for 1st stage. The boosts engage and control the level for the second stage.
The pedal is built with boutique-quality materials, under the strict specifications of Jet City Amplification. The tone is superb for a multitude of genres”from blues, to funk, to rock, the Afterburner will take your guitar tone to new heights.
