like living room speakers but louder
My first pair of monitors .. Like comfortable slippers . I like them because they remind me of all the stereos and Hifi 's I cobbled together in my teens and early 20's ... Kraftwerk sound like they did to me way back then ha ha . So maybe not high end but very very nice to listen to :)
My 6 year old rockets developed a crackling on initial power up ... This would stop after about 30 Mts ... Hardly ideal ... However I found the most useful and easy fix .. Step by step and even I could do it ...
and !! relatively inexpensive

In this video, "Martin Garrix In The Studio With Future Music" (Published on Jan 10, 2014), his KRK ROKIT RP6 studio monitors can be seen. They can be seen throughout the video, but a closeup can be seen at the 16:54 mark. Judging by the style of the "ROKIT POWERED 6" logo on the monitors, these are likely the G2, or second generation (which have since then been replaced by a newer generation, the KRK ROKIT 6 G3 Studio Monitor).
"This is my complete setup. It consists of a computer monitor, some software, the lowest-end M-Audio soundcard and some KRK Rokit6's.
"This setup is actually more hi-fi than what i produced my EP Spitfire on. For that record, I used my computer's onboard soundcard and those $100 logitech consumer speakers from best buy I mentioned earlier. Again: no hardware"
