M Audio Delta 66

soundonsound.com

The M-Audio Delta 66 Audio Interface stands out for its high audio quality and excellent value for money, making it a versatile option for musicians who don't need extensive multitrack capabilities. Its 4-in/4-out configuration is ideal for small ensembles or MIDI + Audio setups. The Delta 66 benefits from flexible routing options provided by the Omni I/O, which adds mic preamps and mixer-like features. While the interface and Omni I/O are packed with features, the controls can initially be confusing, and the manual isn't much help. Despite the cramped layout and short cable, it's a budget-friendly choice that doesn't skimp on sound quality.

Old, but dependable

Bought this second hand. It works perfectly with Linux. Need to install the mixer app (Envy24control) to set levels. I also have the Omni I/O box that provides mic pre-amps and other mixer functions. I have not used the digital i/o at all yet.
