Critic Reviews

Source Audio True Spring Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Source Audio True Spring Reverb is a standout in the digital effects realm, delivering impressively authentic spring reverb tones and a wealth of customization options via its Neuro app. Its compact size makes it easy to fit on any pedalboard, but this design comes at a cost—some features, like tremolo controls, can feel cumbersome to access during live performances. While it excels in tonal variety, including stunning tank reverb emulations, its lack of dedicated tremolo knobs may frustrate those who crave more hands-on control. Overall, it’s a smart compromise for players seeking quality sound in a compact package.

Source Audio True Spring Reverb pedal review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Source Audio True Spring Reverb pedal masterfully captures the vintage charm of 60s amps, offering both authentic spring reverb and tremolo effects. Its compact design, easy access to presets, and the comprehensive Neuro app make it a versatile addition to any pedalboard. However, the requirement for an extra footswitch for independent reverb and tremolo control is a notable drawback. Overall, while it excels in sound quality and vintage vibe, the limited switching options may frustrate some users. Still, for those seeking rich, classic tones, this pedal is a worthy investment.

Holy smokes the reverb

I can almost feel like I'm playing live with this. It has a good kick, it's sort of sensitive so I will sound like you are in a water tank or drowning or in a alleyway if you push it too much. But has so much life and soul.

King of spring

Sounds exactly like i imagine a Fender outboard reverb tank or a amp style spring reverb. It nails that classic Dick Dale Surf tone! Everything i wanted from a reverb!
