premierguitar.com

The Malekko Heavy Industry Ekko 616 Analog Delay impresses with its versatile modulation features, offering a rich palette of delay tones at an affordable price. Its bucket brigade-style delay provides natural-sounding feedback and a wide frequency range, crucial for musicality. Users may find the modulation settings a bit complex initially, but they reward with unique sounds once mastered. The pedal's compact design houses both true and buffered bypass options, enhancing flexibility. However, those seeking programmable digital delay features or longer delay times may find it lacking. Overall, it's a standout performer for analog enthusiasts seeking diverse soundscapes.

Malekko Ekko 616 Analog Delay – review – Lone Phantom

lonephantom.com

The Malekko Ekko 616 Analog Delay is praised for its rich, musical analogue delay tones and versatile modulation options, making it a unique two-in-one pedal. It boasts true and buffered bypass, an internal trim-pot for volume adjustment, and can deliver anything from subtle slap-back to atmospheric effects. However, the modulation controls are hard to see, and the lack of delay tails in buffered mode could be a drawback for some. Overall, it's a sturdy, high-quality unit offering excellent sound for those seeking a distinctive analogue delay experience.

BBD as it's best, nevertheless...

It is almostr an MXR Carbon Copy with outside controls. Sounds beautifully. One thing though, it doesn't really like being in a loop of my BOSS ES-8. Maybe Level or impedance related ?
