Good amp for beginners

Sounds good on clean and crunch; the overdrive channels aren't great, use pedals for distortion. Also, way too heavy

Nice practice amp

I use this amp for Band practice. It's a nice Solid State amp which will give you the tone you need for indoor practicing. I used to play with this Marshall in some small venues and I really got an acceptable sound. I don't recommend using the incorporated distortion channels as they aren't as good as the clean channel, it is better to use a distortion pedal.

Great

Really good amp for all of the places I've needed to play at, I upgraded the speaker to a celestian 100w 1x12, it sounds really clean now, but it can handle any dirt you give it too. The only complaint I have is that it weighs almost too much to take it anywhere.
