Known for its fuzzy "Octave Up" effect, this pedal creates a unique tonal texture reminiscent of a ring modulator, making it an ideal partner for your fuzzes and overdrives. The Argonaut's design is as minimalist as it is effective, operating without potentiometers, which allows for a straightforward and unobstructed sound experience.

Well built but may not be for you

I like octave fuzzes and hoped this would turn my favourite fuzzes and ODs into octaves. I find it to have severe limitations.

Good octave up sounds when used before drives (although it'll mess with some fuzzes in a bad way). Doesn't work after drives nearly as well. No controls for volume or fuzz levels.

I find that volume will fluctuate depending on notes played, so always place a compressor in the chain somewhere after this pedal.

Good but Loud

It sounds good with other overdrives and with guitar volume rolled off. Loud pedal though.
