Best ALL Round Acoustic Mic
If you love your AKG C414 (drums etc) - Audio Technica 4050 (acoustic ambience) - AKG C12 Clarity Vocals But you want a Slightly Sweeter Mic with the Depth, Clarity & Warmth you can only get from a Martin Kantola Mic Design - Then you are going to LOVE this one!
Exceptional on Sweet Female Vocals like a AKG / TELE C12 but Modern Spec virtually no noise & very accurate & clarity are far as you can see / hear....
The Black Pearl Microphone is the Exact Same Mic (Capsule, Circuitry) & Sound as the Bruce Swedien SWE#1 Mic - for Half The Price!
This was Martin Kantola's 1st Mass Produced Mic where he had Pearl Microphone Company (Germany) mass produce the Black Pearl Mic Steel BODY
The SWE#1 Mic Martin Kantola would make in a WOOD Body that he would fashion by hand so having Pearl Microphones place it on a Mass Produced BODY cuts significant costs
It is however the same Mic as the SWE#1 - Minus the Wood Body & Bruce Swedien's 3D Viking Logo
