Razer Kraken USB Headset [Tech Review!] | Nerdy But Flirty

nerdybutflirty.com

The Razer Kraken USB headset delivers impressive sound quality and comfort, especially after installing the Synapse software, which unlocks the full potential of its 7.1 surround sound. While the microphone excels with crystal-clear clarity, the software can lead to some frustrating volume issues, particularly with Google Chrome. However, at a price point just above $50, the Kraken offers exceptional value for gamers and music lovers alike, making it a standout choice despite some software hiccups.

Razer Kraken USB Review - RTINGS.com

rtings.com

The Razer Kraken USB headphones deliver low latency for gaming but falter with a tight fit and subpar sound quality. While the microphone performs admirably and the companion app offers some EQ customization, the overall audio profile is bass-heavy and muddy, lacking clarity for vocals and instruments. The build quality feels cheap, with awkward ear cup sizes that may not accommodate all users comfortably. Additionally, their bulky design and poor isolation make them less than ideal for casual use or travel. If you're a gamer seeking a budget option, they might suffice, but serious listeners should look elsewhere.

Razer Kraken USB Gaming Headset Review / Test — Geeks Rising

geeksrising.com

The Razer Kraken USB Gaming Headset is built for gamers, but it falls short in audio quality. While the construction is decent and the ear padding is comfortable, the microphone disappoints with a hollow and thin sound, making it unsuitable for recording or commentary. The bass-heavy headphones lack clarity in the highs, which may frustrate audiophiles. If you're strictly gaming, this headset might suffice for communication, but expect to compromise on sound fidelity. Overall, it’s a mixed bag that only caters to specific gaming needs without delivering a well-rounded audio experience.

I like it

Could have a better quality and better sound but they are meant to be used when gaming and they are good for gaming and okay for making music. Dont mix or master with these, not the mic though. The mic is usable but not good, check out mic tests on yt for more info.
