Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Review: 70-Hour Battery and ’90s-Era Nostalgia | WIRED

wired.com

The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset is a stylish and comfortable choice for gamers, boasting impressive features like 70 hours of battery life and solid audio quality, particularly in bass-heavy gaming scenarios. Its unique design, reminiscent of retro '90s headphones, sets it apart, making it visually appealing. However, it falls short for some users, as Xbox and PS5 players need to purchase different models, and the bass emphasis might not suit everyone for casual listening. Overall, it’s a compelling headset, but potential buyers should weigh its gaming focus against versatility.

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro review - SoundGuys

soundguys.com

The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro offers solid wireless performance and an impressive microphone upgrade, making it a top contender for gaming headsets. Comfort is a highlight, with its memory foam ear pads and lightweight design. However, it suffers from poorer isolation compared to its wired predecessor, which is a notable drawback. Additionally, the price increase for wireless capabilities may not sit well with all gamers. While it shines for PC use, console compatibility is limited. Overall, it provides a balanced experience, but potential buyers should weigh its strengths against the shortcomings before making a decision.

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro review: The best gaming headset I've ever used

mashable.com

The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro sets a high bar for gaming headsets, delivering pristine sound and exceptional comfort that enhances any gaming experience. Its intuitive controls and minimal latency further elevate its appeal. However, the detachable microphone design raises some usability concerns, and the battery life, while decent, could be better for extended play. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall quality and immersive audio make it a worthwhile investment for serious gamers. At $199.99, it’s a premium choice, but the value is evident in its performance and comfort.

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro review - Esports Insider

esportsinsider.com

Razer's BlackShark V2 Pro delivers a premium gaming experience with its lightweight design and impressive sound quality, making it perfect for long sessions. The headset shines with easy connectivity, a comfortable fit, and a high-quality microphone. However, it's not without flaws: the lack of active noise cancellation and a carrying case at this price point is disappointing. While the plastic construction raises concerns about durability, particularly for travel, its robust feature set makes it an ideal choice for home use. Overall, it’s a solid pick for dedicated gamers, albeit one that may not suit everyone’s needs.

Horrible

I'd like to start off with saying this isn't my first time buying a Razer product. Every product I've purchased has either stopped working or became impaired. Flimsy and cheap cable, and the right side of the headphones only sometimes work. The sound is not great and they started becoming quiet after a year's use. I'm saving up for a new pair of headphones. Basically anything is better than these. Never buying a Razer product ever again.
