Great choice.

My first professional headphones exclusively for composing tunes. I am pleased by the honesty of the sound they convey, there is no bass boosting or anything(which I commonly associate with headphones/earbuds from companies such as Beats/Skullcandy/etc.). I don't think they are the TOP TOP of the line headset, but I think they are quite professional. Very cool, very honest.

Durable

Even though they don't sound as nice as my old Spirit Pros, they're much more durable (Spirit Pros are prone to cracks on the side if not delicately handled, which has happened to me twice now). They also give the Spirit Pros quite a run for the money in terms of sound quality.

The best and most comfortable headphones I've used to date! I've used them to record my last 2 and a half albums and the quality and bass is exceptional. Highly recommend.

They are indeed headphones

Good monitoring headphones, they provide nice isolation and relatively good frequency response. The 100-200hz region is a bit dry, so it can cause you to mix in extra mud, and the MDR-7506s have better highs, but overall these headphones are not bad, all my mixdowns used go through them before release.

Dat freq thoe...

In general: very very flat and critical. Its slightly boosted mid frequency response makes it incredibly more flat and critical standard than anything that I have seen (or heard) before. Perfect to have an accurate sense of what is going on in the EQ.

Excellent notion and clarity of basses (all of them). A little exceeded on the high-end for my personal taste; it has taken me time to get used to the big amount of highs.

Best choice for a hundred bucks budget. Definitely recommended.

They are okay

It is a reasonably priced headphone with good isolation. The trade-off is that the sound could be more accurate and the headphone is not the most comfortable because pressing force needed for the isolation is rather big. It is good for recording purposes.

These are perfect for production because of the very flat EQ it has. The tight low end is very helpful for making important mixing decisions, and the stereo image these headphones create make them perfect for mixing as well. only compaint would be that these headphones aren't the most comfortable for long periods of time

Good studio Headphones

These are really good and true sounding studio headphones, however. They do not reproduce the bottom end very well. There are also other headphones, which work better in loud environments. So I would not recommend to use them as DJ headphones. They are not designed for that. But they are really good headphones when using them at home or in the studio.
