Description
Spline Laboratories Cathedral Designed to meet the discerning needs of producer and guitarist Josh Ang, CATHEDRAL is the sound of Josh's latest project Pincer+ CATHEDRAL is Spline Laboratories evolution of the legendary Hyperfuzz - fine tuned for metal and hardcore. Three pedal modes give a huge number of tonal options including two fuzz voices and an overdrive. Turn up the GLARE to get the Pincer+ sound, adding in a gnarly gated octave-up. In the studio and live, Josh uses BLEND to mix in the perfect amount of CATHEDRAL rip with his core distortion sounds. GLARE: Adds in a nasty octave up. GLARE naturally gates your signal the more you turn it up. Crank GLARE to get the Pincer+ sound. Turn GLARE down for classic Hyperfuzz tones. LEVEL: Over 20dB of boost at your fingertips, push your amp to the limit for even more saturation. MODE: Up: Screaming upper-mid fuzz voicing. Center: GLARE overdrive mode. Down: Crushing lower-mid fuzz tones, for classic doom and sludge sounds. GAIN: Turn up for more texture and compression, utilizing synthetic germanium technology. SHAPE: Active EQ with a custom sweep. Turn up all the way for full-bore destruction. Dial back to tighten up your highs & lows. BLEND: Dry guitar signal blend - when turned up all the way, you will be hearing only your dry guitar tone. Dial back to hear more CATHEDRAL.
