The magic of the Cold Shot lies in its circuit design, which features a three-way midrange frequency cut switch. Choose between Dumb (200Hz), Marsh (700Hz), and Twin (500Hz) settings to emulate classic amp tonalities. This gives you the power to sculpt your sound with precision, whether you’re channeling the rich warmth of a Dumble or the punchy clarity of a Marshall.
With a fully customizable EQ section, the pedal allows you to adjust bass, mid, and treble to create a naturally resonant sound reminiscent of a tube amp. The bass control interacts with the distortion stage, adding a layer of fuzz when cranked, while the midrange adjustments are your gateway to shaping the character of your sound.
Add to that the Comp Switch with three modes—GLORY, KLN, and 808—that modify the clipping behavior and headroom, you can dial in the perfect balance of texture and smoothness. Each mode offers a unique palette, from open and loud to compressed and saturated, ensuring your tone remains as dynamic as your performance.
