The Tweed Deluxe Dual Overdrive and Boost Pedal by True North
The True North Tweed Deluxe is a boutique dual-channel guitar effects pedal that combines a vintage-style overdrive with a flexible boost section in one compact unit.
Designed to capture the character of classic Fender “tweed” amp tones, it pairs a tweed-inspired overdrive circuit with a modified treble/mid/full-range boost for expressive, amp-like response.
Each channel has its own footswitch, and an order switch lets you choose whether the boost feeds into the drive or the drive feeds into the boost, opening up a wide range of tonal possibilities from warm breakup to stronger gain and solo boosts.
The pedal is fully analogue with true bypass switching and housed in True North’s signature tweed-covered enclosure.
The overdrive side offers headroom and EQ tweaks tailored for dynamic playing while the boost side enhances presence and cut.
Its versatile sound palette makes it suitable for blues, rock, and vintage-voiced overdrive applications.
Handbuilt in Canada, the Tweed Deluxe reflects True North’s boutique construction and tone-first design ethos.
