Description

Professional-grade and magnetically shielded.

Ultrasone PRO 900 Headphones offer you professional sound performance. PRO 900 headphones are the first pair of Ultrasone PRO headphones with the patented S-Logic PLUS technology. This sophisticated technology combines precision dampening with micro-acoustic reinforcement, allowing driver, buffer-board, and spatial parameters to complement one another optimally. So the acoustical design of S-Logic PLUS models and their tonal fine-tuning result in maximum neutral sound impression with more vivid perception of voices and instruments.

Ultrasone ULE Technology & PRO Design

PRO headphones' ULE (Ultra Low Emission) technology, part of the S-Logic Natural Surround System, offers significant benefits for professional users. Most headphone drivers produce low-frequency magnetic fields as they convert an electric signal into the acoustical signal you hear as music. In response, Ultrasone developed a special MU Metal shielding to reduce the radiation by up to 98% compared to current headphones. The ULE technology has stood the test of international review and is recommended by technical surveillance organizations. Ultrasone originally developed the ULE technology for professionals, since they spend much of their lives in headphones. But due to popular demand, the ULE technology has now been integrated in other Ultrasone headphone lines.

Safer Listening

S-Logic doesn't just create a Natural Surround Sound. S-Logic allows at the same time a reduction of sound pressure levels by up to 40% (3-4 dB) for the same perception of volume. This may reduce the risk of hearing damage while ensuring hours of fatigue-free listening.

SoundStage! Xperience | SoundStageXperience.com - Ultrasone Pro 900 Headphones

soundstagexperience.com

The Ultrasone PRO 900 headphones promise high-fidelity sound with their S-Logic surround technology and ULE shielding. While praised for exceptional high-frequency detail and immersive soundstage, they stumble with recessed lower midrange and overly abundant bass, making acoustic instruments and vocals sound unbalanced. Their robust bass might appeal to some, but it comes at the cost of clarity in fast bass passages. Compared to the pricier Edition 8, the PRO 900 lacks finesse in transient response and bass precision. Despite their attractive design and comfort, these headphones prioritize bass over balance, resulting in a less than faithful reproduction of music.

Ultrasone Pro 900 Headphones - Review | Sound & Vision

soundandvision.com

The Ultrasone PRO 900 headphones offer an expansive and natural soundscape, thanks to their unique "S-Logic" design. Ideal for audio enthusiasts who crave loud and immersive experiences, they excel in delivering dynamic range, especially in the bass department. High-quality connectors and comfortable ear cushions add to their appeal. However, they are not perfect for studio use due to sound leakage and can feel bulky. The ear cushions, while comfy, may not stay in place securely. Despite these drawbacks, the PRO 900s provide a thrilling audio experience, making them a worthwhile investment for those seeking powerful and exciting sound.

positive

Ultrasone: PRO 900 S-Logic headphones | Tape Op Magazine | Longform candid interviews with music producers and audio engineers covering mixing, mastering, recording and music production.

tapeop.com

Ultrasone's PRO 900 headphones impress with their S-Logic Plus surround sound, decentralized driver positioning, and detailed audio reproduction. A significant upgrade over typical headphones, they offer a broad soundstage and reduced ear fatigue, making them ideal for mixing and general listening. However, their velvet earpads provide less isolation, which might not suit tracking in noisy environments. Despite a high price point, these headphones deliver clarity and depth that justify the investment, though not ideal for acoustic settings. Overall, a compelling choice for audiophiles and professionals alike.
