Solid and Portable
I love these! Great sound quality, solid build, and yet still very portable.
I will say, if you don't care about portability, I would opt for the full over-ear headphones from V-Moda. I went with these, the on-ear M-80s, because I use them on my commute and they travel to work with me every day. They are comfortable and have conformed to my head shape so I can wear them for a few hour before I really start to be bothered by the fact that I'm wearing headphones.

Yes, they are great Headphones. Built like a tank and they sound really good. Originally, I wanted to buy the Sennheider HD-25 1-II, but I did not have the budget. But I was always eying the V-Modas as my second choice. One day, Amazon had a killer deal on the M-80s. So I bought them. I do not regret it, they are amazing!

Built like a tank and great sound
The M-80s sound really good and feel, like they can take some beating. I have the white model, which came with a microphone cord. Replacing it with a DJ cord is easy. I bought a replacement cord designed for Beats off Ebay, and it fits perfectly without any cracking noises. I like that the ear pieces have memory foam and that you can easily bend the band without worries of breaking it. It seems to be metal inside. The cans are isolating pretty good, but they can't compete in this category with my HDJ-1500, which do a better job in loud environments. Over the years the faux leather headband started peeling and I wish there would be an easy way to replace it. So, I just pulled the peeling layer off and painted the underlaying fabric black. Problem solved. I replaced the ear cushions once. Otherwise these headphones are holding up like crazy. Since I lost the hard case, I travel with them in my backpack without any protection. They are working fine! The construction is impressive. I recently got a boom microphone for it and use it as a gaming headset.
I highly recommend these headphones. They are indestructible and sound really good. Unfortunately, the lack of isolation and the peeling of the headband are the reasons for the four star rating of an otherwise amazing pair of headphones.

Great headphones overall, really surprised by the build quality, will always deal with V-Moda in the future for sure !
Mid and Highs are crystal clear, little lack of bass IMO but for producing on the go would definitely recommend !
