Distortion pedal optimized for a studio-ready amp.
-FEATURES-
Powerful distortion, like the distortion of a high-end amplifier. ATHENA's distortion is characterized by juicy yet powerful distortion. It's possible to create a luxurious sound that looks like a distorted luxury amplifier or a fully-updated tube amp.
JC/MS switch In JC mode, you can use the JC-120 and other combo amps for optimal sound. Combo amps are often more balanced in the mid-range than stacked amps, but by flipping a switch, you can produce quality tones without losing any of the guitar's tone or the nuances of the player. MS mode is more suitable for stacked amplifiers such as the Marshall. The internal circuitry adjusts the low and high frequencies appropriately to produce a glossy and sexy tone while maintaining the power of the bass and crispness of the treble. Each combo amp and stack amp is tuned to match the points, but the JC-120 does not have MS mode that cannot be used. It can be switched to suit your amp or guitar.
TubeAdjust control ATHENA is equipped with TubeAdjust control. Hi allows you to boost/cut highs, overtones and attack, and Lo allows you to boost/cut bass with a sense of sound pressure. Compared to the normal TONE control, you can make finer adjustments to the sound pressure and harmonics.
