Westone W30 vs Westone UM Pro 30 Review - Major HiFi

majorhifi.com

The Westone UM Pro 30 In-Ear Monitors offer a sound profile with enhanced clarity and detail, making them ideal for musicians seeking precision. However, their fit may not be as snug as the W30, which provides a warmer, fuller sound and a more comfortable seal. Design-wise, the UM Pro 30's transparent shells appeal to those who prefer a modern look, despite lacking the customizable faceplates of the W30. While the UM Pro 30 shines in mids and highs with a brighter sound, it's not as fatigue-free for long listening sessions as the W30. Musicians prioritizing sound detail will appreciate the UM Pro 30, but rock enthusiasts might lean towards the W30 for its balanced and lush audio.

Great.

These are a excellent mid price IEM. They give excellent balanced sound with three good drivers giving a excellent true sound and a perfect upgrade from what one may call intro level IEMs. The only draw back is the earbud selection is not high level giving a admittedly fair sized collection of buds in the box however not what one would expect from pro devices. This is easily fixed with some custom moulds which bring out the rich bass power of these IEMs. These devises also come with a excellent hard carry case that feels very durable.
