best monitors iv ever had. 100% quality

I bought a pair of Yamaha HS 7's for everyday use in my room, be it mixing or simply using thomann them with my pc; I can now safely say they were very much worth their price. The quality and clarity of sound are amazing,

The speaker cabinet is beautifully made and designed, it's simplistic design allows it to be very stealth, and the material thomann used to cover the exterior of the cabinet doesn't stain or scratch easily, and it's super easy to clean.

What I don't like about the HS7's is the fact that the bass port is on the back, having the necessity to distance them a bit from the thomann walls, more than normal, or having to put isolation behind them to absorb or control the bass frequencies, avoiding reflexes and phase cancellation.

I totally advise anyone who is interested in a medium priced monitors with great sound to buy the Yamaha HS7's, clear and high quality!

Working a treat so far

As a complete newbie to home studio recording, I was advised to invest in some decent monitors and after much consultation with more experienced pals and some of those helpful chaps at PMT, I plumped for these babies. Must admit they are solid and superbly put together with bombproof build quality. Opted for the white because I just thought they looked better. The good thing is that to my ears they faithfully put out what you put in. I guess the bad thing about this is that the only thing I have put in thus far are my pitiful attempts at home recording.
