The Continental electric organ, recognizable by its reversed black-and-white keyboard design, became a staple of 1960s and 70s pop and rock. The VOX wah-wah pedal, developed in the late 1960s, became one of the most widely used effects in electric guitar history, associated with players including Jimi Hendrix.
