Powered by 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and 4 x EL84 tubes, it delivers a powerful 30-watt output for a rich and full-bodied sound. With two channels, Normal and Top Boost, each equipped with its own volume control, it offers an abundance of tone-crafting control.
Experience the classic VOX "chimey" sound or a powerful overdriven tone by balancing the individual and Master volumes. Further fine-tune your sound with the Tone Cut control, which operates in the power stage for a unique degree of tone shaping. Add spaciousness to your music with the warm Spring Reverb, and shape your sound with the VOX Classic Tremolo effect.
Beyond its exceptional sound, the VOX AC30C2X features an 8/16 ohm output jack for powering an external speaker cabinet, taking your music to new heights. An additional extension speaker jack allows for an extra 16-ohm cabinet for a fuller sound. With its true "Bypass" switching, incorporating your favorite effects into your sound has never been easier.

In this interview on the Vox website, Felix White talks about how he and Orlando both use Vox AC30C2X guitar amps. He explains "A couple of years ago my amp broke just before we were going on stage. The band we were playing with lent me their AC30 as an emergency and I loved it.
