Critic Reviews

Atomic Amps Amplifire

soundonsound.com

The Atomic Amps AmpliFire Multi-Effects Pedal is a high-performance guitar amp modeller that impresses with its great sound, intuitive operation, and flexibility. Its ability to load third-party impulse responses is a standout feature at this price point, adding significant versatility. The device is lauded for its natural touch-sensitivity and realistic amp emulations, making it a top choice for both studio and live settings. However, potential buyers should note the lack of a USB recording interface and the need for a MIDI foot controller to fully exploit its stage potential. Despite these minor drawbacks, the AmpliFire delivers superb value for money, making it a must-consider option for musicians seeking quality amp modelling and effects in a compact format.

A direct competitor to Axe Fx II.

Amazing piece of gear. It has great amp sims, organic, responsive and really close the real amps. It's advantage against other more expensive modellers is that it's more straightforward and easy to use. Totally recommend it for anyone who wants great tones in a small box. Pretty affordable as well.
