Critic Reviews

BO100 Blues Overdrive Review: It has a good sound to it for hard rock mostly. | Behringer | Guitar Effects | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Behringer BO100 Blues Overdrive is a surprisingly strong performer for its price. While it may lack versatility, its solid blues and hard rock tones, reminiscent of AC/DC, make it a worthwhile choice for budget-conscious players. Its plastic build is more durable than expected, though occasional noise issues require careful amp placement. Overall, it offers impressive distortion and reliability, making it a top pick for those seeking affordability without sacrificing sound quality.

A very pleasant overdrive.

When I was younger I always just thought that distortion was the way to go. Now growing older and finally finding somewhat of my own sound I realized how lovely this pedal is. It gives you a nice overdrive for classic rock and can easily be used together with other pedals to give it little bit more "oomph". I also use it to give my Little Big Muff Pi the slight kick that it needs to become an absolute monster.

The Cleanest Thing

This is my clean tone. This is circa early 2000's when they were starting to make this pedal at Behringer HQ. I find this better than the BO400 (I have tried it) as I am more of a vintage guy when it comes to distortion and drives. This gives me the drive I need without being too in my face.
