good for starters

It is a pretty easy system. the 2 ports are useful for mic and instrument. It isn't completly plug and play but still very easy to set up.

Very decent interface

I recorded a lot of albums using this interface and it works, two channels to recorded, 48v for mics, do what it promises but with some lacks, nothing is perfect it can get very noisy in high ends, is useless it you want to record podcast with him because everychannel is put in left or right and i don't like that but beside that, is ok interface.

It does what it should and there is a lot of range to control the gain

My only problem with it is I wish the "phones" output worked for both inputs at the same time.

Awesome budget interface!

Been using this interface to record demos (guitar tracks) and its been great. Yes it doesn't have the greatest definition nor is the signal really loud, but for the dirt cheap price it is unbeatable, not to mention its worked without a single problem, hardware and driver wise! Don't think twice about getting this thing for demo work or for streaming/podcasts.

Great for the buck

Pre-amp gets noise around 2 o'clock. It makes it hard to record clean vocals with dynamic mics without more gear. Great to start for those ( like me) who can't afford to pay for a focusrite one.

Actually, now that i think about it, if I had the money for a focusrite nowadays, I would probably go for the 4 channel version of this one instead.

you can buy a used focusrite 2i2 on ebay for around $100, sometimes less... I know, I've been looking because I want something for my laptop so I can edit on headphones wherever I am. Is the U-phoria 202 THAT much cheaper?

FOCUSRITE is usually what i use BUT! in a pinch one day when my FR d.a.c. died, i needed a new interface fast and i was cornered at the time on cash so i got this for the time being. midas pre amps, pretty f*cking clean audio, and cheap.. realllllly cheap

This gives great sound quality and has lots of great settings. A good buy if you are starting out!

Fantastic Portable Interface

Great sounding interface at an inexpensive price. Powered by USB makes it ideal for a portable recording rig. Direct Monitor line out helps if your system has latency issues. Sounds great, fairly quiet.
