When we first got our hands on the Boss CE-2W Chorus Waza Craft, we knew we were in for a treat. Boss has built a legendary status with their chorus pedals, and the CE-2W certainly carries that torch forward.

Right out of the box, the pedal feels like a tank (something we find ourselves saying a lot about Boss builds). The build quality is indestructible and the fact that it's handcrafted in Japan only adds to its reliability. It's clear that this pedal is meant to endure years of rigorous use, whether in the studio or on stage.

The CE-2W comes with three distinct modes: CE-1, CE-2, and Vibrato. While the simple controls—Rate and Depth—might seem limiting at first glance, they actually offer a surprisingly wide range of tonal possibilities. The stereo output option is a fantastic feature for those looking to create a more immersive soundscape.

Best Chorus made better

I tried out this pedal, the Walrus Julia, and the JHS Emperor, and went home with the CE-2W. I leave mine in the CE-1 setting because I like the dark tone. Almost went with the Walrus Julia, but Boss has always made the best chorus pedals since the CE-1 as far as my ears are concerned.

Loved the Vibrato

This pedal ended my search for a chorus pedal. I use the CE-1 setting which is a great addition to the standard CE-2 mode. A beautiful organic chorus sound.

The BEST Chorus/Vibrato

This pedal has the best chorus and vibrato sounds of the classic Boss CE-1 and CE-2, it is easy to use, and sounds so freaking good. Just buy it. You won't be dissapointed

a luxury but worth it

As a Rush fan a chorus pedal is a must and the first test is can it play Hemispheres. The answer here is a resounding yes. Gives CE1 and CE2 options and also a new stereo mode. One of my favourite pedals

My favorite effect in my collection.

The warm and gorgeous sound this pedal produce is something no other pedal will ever duplicate and I'm glad BOSS made this Waza craft. I personally love to use it on the guitar solos in Isolation songs and personal side projects.

Best Chorus pedal I have ever used

I love this thing, there is only one interesting idiosyncrasy with it... I find that the vibrato mode actually makes better chorus sounds than either chorus mode lol I don't really favor the midrange bump that seems to happen on the CE-2 setting.
