Description
This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-wired pedal by bremerklang - built for tone fanatics, pedalboard obsessives, and sonic explorers who believe “boutique” should mean more than just a pretty box. If you’ve ever thought “I wish I could pack two rare vintage amp personalities into one stompbox and light up my pedalboard with something nobody else has,” - this one’s for you. From jangly Beatles-esque rhythm chime to full-throttle end-of-the-’60s stomp, it’s all inside.
Two independent circuits, each a love letter to late-’60s British, “Sgt. Pepper & White Album” transistor amp tone:
Left side: a faithful reinterpretation of the “Dr. Robert” vibe - originally inspired by the ultra-rare Vox UL 730 hybrid amp once used by the Beatles. Wide mid-sweep, crisp chime, and a dedicated, switchable, boost stage for full-on end-stage grit. The UL730 side adds external Bass and Treble controls that open up a broad tonal spectrum, as well as Mid and Gain controls that interact dynamically yielding everything from cutting presence to thick wwhooomp. Two knobs to control the so-called “Boost” section: in reality, it’s much more than a volume lift. Here, the regular µ-amp gain stage is replaced by a furious, dirty alternative power stage that pushes the circuit into fuzz/distortion territory when needed. Very cool, very alive. Can get very wild.
Right side: a circuit inspired by the “White Pedal” lineage - itself a boutique nod to the solid-state Vox used in the sessions for said album. Think crunchy end-’60s transistor character, ranging from warm overdrive to snarling fuzz with chewy, mid-shifting tone. Not only “Revolution” - but a lot more. Raw bite of the late-’60s Vox Conqueror amps in a compact box. Its solid-state overdrive and fuzz stages deliver tight lows, glassy highs, and that unmistakable chewy mid growl. The sweepable three way “MID” switch recreates the Conqueror’s MRB (mid-range boost) circuit, letting you “park” a resonant mid hump like a fixed wah.
Simple yet versatile it moves from from overdrive to fuzz without losing clarity. A faithful homage to the transistor-era Vox sound: articulate, immediate, and gloriously un-tubey.
