Great for recording vocals

Although I donot use it as my main DAW, but for recording vocals over pre-made tracks it is really great. As a full-fledged DAW it is probably the best at this price range.

shockingly flexable, but very hard to use

as the title says, shockingly versatile, but the ui is starting to look very outdated, and it's very un-intuitive. can defiantly use an overhaul sometime in the near future.

Cool for beginners and for excellence advanced

Reaper is the best when we balance Prices/capabilities/development and in the approach for beginners as how for experts. With all the possibilities of the more known DAW in the market have a procedure to work that the beginner can quickly understand and, after, when understanding more and more the sound sciences the customer have never the sensation that is limited by the Reaper capabilities. Allis there. Under a easy surface have a really complex and logic machine. 60 dollars. And if you don't pay Reaper rest in marche free. We all finish for pay. This people merit this tiny price.

Great DAW

The workflow wasn't as intuitive for me as FL Studio and I'm not great at using MIDI editing in it but it's great for editing audio samples, and I personally prefer it for making acousmatic music. Great mixer too

solid DAW

Probably selling myself a little short using such a barebones DAW, but writing and recording tend to be the same process for me, so it's important to have a plug and play sort of situation so I don't get lost in the technical while trying to slap demos together. It does the job perfectly fine, is updated constantly, and is extremely cheap for a personal license.

Incredible!

If you can learn it, Reaper does a bit of everything. Even professionals use it. The license is only $60 and for that you can do whatever you want if you have the plugins. I use it to record guitar through my Scarlet interface and it works flawlessly.

There are two things that are eternal in this world...

And both of them are trials! WinRar and REAPER trial. But for real though, a college student who cannot do much, REAPER has been a blessing for creating various recordings and sounds. It has plenty of options and it suits me just fine.

Great DAW for the Price

I love this thing. I use it instead of Ableton now. It's super easy to use and intuitive. Everything on it was a dream to use and VST plugins are mainly "plug and play" with this thing. I have yet to find any issues with it whatsoever.

I was never a huge fan of Protools but I discovered Reaper through a sound design podcast. I was hooked on how fast it handled audio files. A must have for anyone interested in editing and mixing sound.
