Description

D'Addario NYXL Nickelwound Guitar Strings 10-46 are a game-changer for musicians seeking power, balance, and longevity in their guitar strings. These strings are engineered with a patented NANOWEB coating for an ultra-smooth surface, producing a sound that resonates with clarity and rich overtones.

The NYXL1046 Light strings come with a nickel-plated steel wrap wire over a hex-core wire, which lends tight, punchy bass tones with exceptional clarity and definition. The nickel plating adds warmth and resonance, and the steel core provides tension and snap, offering a deep, solid bass that allows each note to ring through.

At the core of the NYXL1046's tone lies a dynamic, vocal midrange that brings depth and dimension to your chords and single-note lines alike. The NANOWEB coating allows the midrange frequencies to bloom, yielding a tone that cuts through a mix with articulate clarity. Chords take on a full, resonant quality, while lead lines soar above the accompaniment.

The NYXL1046 strings deliver chimey, shimmering highs that make melodic lines come alive and lend clarity to complex chords. Built for longevity and consistent performance, the NYXL1046 strings are an ideal choice for guitarists desiring premium tone and playability over the long haul.

Best strings

They may be $13 strings which is about double a pack of Ernie’s, but man do these things sound good. They will infact wear out after about month or two, but the sound and feel when fresh is just perfect. Also never managed to snap one, that high carbon steel core must not be all marketing.

The best strings I have ever played with, by far.

These strings have such a nice feel to them while playing, and just everything about is better than ANY Ernie Ball strings. Ernie Ball strings tend to have this annoying, and super disgusting tin can sound. Those are cheap strings ($5 or so).

Although D'Addario's NYXL strings are just a little expensive ($15 or so), they are actually worth it. They sound clean, they sound professional, and I have never had any issues with them.

Modern Standard

Can't go wrong with these, They feel great and last long. No doubt the strongest string I ever tried, never broke one. They're definitely on the bright side with high output, lots of finger grunge on the wound strings. Thumbs up for environmental friendly packaging and paints. Colour coded ball ends are super convenient also.

thegooglerider

Probably the best strings ever (for me at least)

I play a lot and most strings i used to play go bad within months but since i started using these strings i never stop using them. These strings tend to last me around 3-3.5 months and they sound great. There are no problems which i can say but strings normally depends on the person, some people might not like coated strings or might not like the price. BUT i would recommend anyone to try these strings out.

The best strings on the market

These are my all time favorite strings. Every single employee at the guitar shop where I work swear by these. The new NY Steel core wire stays in tune longer and lets you bend further. Overall, best sounding strings I've ever used, and the only strings I put on my electric guitars.

Overpriced

It's basically the same thing as the regular XLs. Very slightly better, but not by much. If you can afford to drop $13 on a set of strings then go for it. They are definitely the best strings in existence. However, they're not more than twice as good as the regular XLs like the price might suggest.

ayman_ibrahim

Hands Down Best Strings.

Regular D'addarios suck. This is the best. A bending haven. 2 steps, two and a half steps up or more, these are a beast. As the packaging says. PLAY FEARLESSLY

Love these!

Do you love the feel of strings that have been broken in? Well these strings give you that exact feeling and break in as soon as you put them on + they are pretty damn hard to snap!

christophervizcarra

My perfect guitar strings

When I first tried them I knew these were the ones for me.

isaiahvillar

Doesn't last as long compared to Ernie Balls

I tried these strings to replace my Ernie Ball strings, and within a few weeks most of them broke already (really).
