More guts, boost, and tone!

I love this pedal because it ain't really a "distortion", it gives me more drive, boost, guts and tone, and maybe a hint of compression where I need some drive for certain solos that aren't all distortion-y... like for my rockabilly solos. I used to run 2 of these together, one for rhythm tones and I'd set the other to max for balls-out rock solos.

Zaza described the Juice Box as his “fav OD for years” on his official website’s page for his signature Mooer pedal, The Juicer, which is based on the Juice Box. The page was published on August 9, 2014.

The Juicer is a very special overdrive pedal. Modeled after the DOD FX51 Juice Box (my fav OD for years) it’s designed to give a very transparent and sustaining quality to your tone. It’ll add some boost and life to a crunchy amp by hitting the front end with some added “juice” (gain).
