It's cheap, but that's it.

Non-isolated and it sure sounds like it. So much noise all over the place when connecting pedals to this. Not a huge deal if it's low gain stuff but heaven forbid you put a boost pedal or a fuzz powered by this in your chain. I learned my lesson on cheating out on power supplies here.

A cheap and dead silent power supply

I am really amazed by this little power supply which is not only practical but also complete and silent. In terms of characteristics, there are 8 sockets delivering 9 volts, as well as one 12 volts and one 18 volts. There is also a mini jack adapter and one for positive center pedals. There are small blue LEDs even if it's a bit of a gimmick because in reality they should have only indicated which sockets are on. It fits very easily under a standard pedalboard, it's exactly the size you need. I'm playing in an old apartment so there might be electrical problems. However, I have no background noise issue. So I'm very satisfied with it. I put one on each of my pedalboards and for €30, I don't see what could be better.

Quiet! Great for Price.

Always make sure you use the proper amount of milliamps for your pedals. Check the specs and see what your pedals needs. It’s okay to give a pedal a bit more milliamps than it requires, but don’t give it less then it needs as this can stave it. Not sending proper power can decrease your pedals life expectancy and cause unnecessary noise. Make sure to ALWAYS match the voltage and Polarity. Most pedal are center negative, but always check!

For the money ... it's kinda amazing!

Look it's not a high end isolated power supply, but ... it has an awesome variety of voltages and mA current outputs and it served me well for years with no noise issues untill I was ready to spring foe the CS12. I'm not the least bit disappointed with it!

Works fine, no problems

Got this super cheap off Amazon. Had it for a few months, still haven't had any problems with it. I'm new to pedals & knew I needed a power supply instead of batteries, but everyone said get an expensive isolated power supply or you'll get noise issues. Those were too expensive for me, so I gave this one a shot. Never had any hissing or noise issues of any kind, it works perfectly so I saved a lot of money. I'd recommend it.

Solid choice if you want an affordable power supply, but I doubt if it's really isolated

Great choice if you want a no-frills power supply, with some pretty blue lights. However, I'm not so sure if the isolation on this thing is very good, or if it's even there at all. When I plug in my Zoom G3 with other pedals in the chain on the same power supply, I hear a noticeable ticking sound from the built-in metronome, and whining, which I think must be from a ground loop. The issue solves itself when I plug the G3 into a separate power supply, but that leads me to think that this thing is not isolated as advertised. (However, with all my other pedals, I've never had any issues.)

Not real isolated jacks

I run mine modded to take a plug input from a standard power cable (same ones used for my head) mounted on the side of my pedalboard. I have also modded one of the 9v outs to connect to a single LED I wired to light up my board just enough so that I can see it in the dark. It is a PSU for the money, and that is why I gave it 2 stars. However, it is advertised as isolated jacks and i have seen images of these opened up and they are indeed NOT isolated.

Great one

I've had one of these for like five years or so and have never had an issue. Just goes to show that you don't need to spend <$100 on a solid power supply.
