"My secret weapons!!! @drstrings makes these killer drop-down tuning strings which keep you from having to deal with floppy strings when you're in Drop-D or drop-C.....they maintain their intonation really great as well, which is awesome not having to re-tune in a Filter set where I'm switching to 3 different basses. I use the flatwound Legend strings on my 5-string @fenderguitar #DimensionBass and am still able to get an entire range of tones that cover all styles. Versatility is everything...it sure is nice to have that warmth throughout. The Pure Blues are new to me, nickel roundcore strings. I'm stoked to give them a whirl. Love my DR family to bits!! #ddtbassstrings #drstrings #dropdowntuning #flatwounds #pureblues"
