She's a beaut

Got this guitar used for a great price and it sounds amazing! It's perfect for any genre - especially Jazz and Rock. The cherry red is beautiful and it's overall a really well built guitar. I don't think I'll ever sell it!

Great guitar, heavier than what you'd assume

Great guitar. Stays in tune well. The Epiphone pickups actually sound good. The jack ring fell off at some point and I had to throw one on from my parts bin. It's surprisingly heavy for a semi hollow guitar. It weighs at least as much as my telecaster.

Amazing!

This guitar has now been my main go-to guitar for the last 2 months, and I love it! If you're searching for a good hollow-body guitar that's got a good sound, nice feel and got room to play, then this guitar is definitely something for you. I bought it after I joined my new band where we play a lot of rock/blues music. Before that I used to play on a Jim Root Signature Fender Telecaster, which had a little bit too big of a "crunch" for the sound we were aiming for, so I went out and looked through several Strats, Teles, and some other hollow bodies, like the Sheraton, but this one was the one that won my heart. And at that price I was sold!

So if you want a good hollow-body guitar at a decent price, then this is your baby!

Repaired broken Neck

As an Oasis fan, i couldn't make it without a semi-hollow like this Epiphone Dot, the one I received has been broken at the neck by the delivery service (used guitar), been repaired by a luthier, put a pair of Di Marzio PAF's and she now sounds perfect for any Rock N' Roll situation, it's cranky as hell on the bridge position in a Bassman, and very beefy with the Neck Pickup.

UPDATE : I now use it with a wounded G-string, 12-52 Elixir, now it is perfect, it stays in tune, it's bright, it's detailed.

I Call Her Big Red.

I lucked out and found a lefty that had already been modded. With open-coiled Gibson pickups ('57 Classic, neck/498T, bridge), and a wrap-around Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece, this thing gives me the dynamic control, shapeable feedback, and overall versatility to play just about anything I want.

"Eme"

Epiphone has done a great jobs like the Casino... but the 335 style it´s easy to obtain with the The Dot. I love the cherry red colour, like the guitar of Chuck Berry or Noel Gallagher and it sounds magnificent, It´s and example of a great guitar without spend moneya lot of. Perfect to play classic rock.

An amazingly versatile guitar

I use this live usually drop tuned for a few of the songs including covers of songs such as love is all. you can get such a versatile sound from this through the right amp

Decent guitar good for blues and classic rock.

2 vol. knobs and 2 tone knobs. Tune-O-Matic bridge. This is a really good guitar for blues and classic rock. Has a nice smooth sound on the clean settings. Loud when unplugged it is a nice semi-hollow.

IT'S A GREAT GUITAR

It's good for it's price range, pick ups give a warm fuzzy sound great for The Strokes' sounds. One complain is that the tone knob on the Bridge Pickup is a little loose but nothing else seems to be affected.
