Description
The Fender Bronco PR-258 is an exceptional choice for guitarists seeking a vintage-inspired sound with modern versatility. This solid-state combo amplifier, modeled after the classic 1950s Fender Champ, brings a retro vibe with modern functionality that appeals to both novice and seasoned players. Its compact design makes it an ideal partner for practice sessions and small gigs, while its distinctive tweed finish adds a touch of classic Fender style.
At the heart of the Bronco PR-258 is a single 8" speaker that delivers a warm, well-rounded tone. The amplifier is equipped with an impressive array of controls, including "Normal Volume," "Gain," and "Drive," allowing you to sculpt your sound with precision. The three-band EQ—comprising Treble, Middle, and Bass pots—provides further tonal flexibility, letting players dial in everything from bright, shimmering highs to deep, resonant lows.
For private practice, the headphone jack offers the convenience of silent playing, ensuring you can hone your skills anytime, anywhere. Additionally, the extension speaker jack provides the option to scale up your sound by connecting an external cabinet for a more powerful output.
This amplifier's authentic vintage aesthetic is complemented by durable construction, featuring original knobs, a sturdy handle, and a reliable cord. Simply Fun
Purchased it because it was always the best sounding little amp @ the tiny local guitar store I used to frequent (early '90s).
Sold it because a friend with a lot more talent borrowed it and couldn't bare to give it back.
Sure it's solid state, but it was solid.
